ESSENIAL

Memories live on.

A secure, local-first prototype for collecting stories, uploading photos from different ages, and revisiting those memories through the age you want looking back at you.

First steps

Start by building the age library.

Upload pictures from different periods of life. During the interview, ESSENIAL can let a younger or older version of the person look back at you while you answer. Later, that same selection shapes the secure legacy experience.

Secure by default Photo uploads, age selection, interview answers, and legacy playback all run locally in your browser unless you choose a server-backed setup.

What has been preserved

What do we actually know?

This view counts recorded material. “Not yet preserved” means the archive has no answer—not that the event did not happen.

What was actually preserved

A source shows where the answer came from. It does not make a memory infallible, and it never reveals material outside your access.
